Androscoggin Valley Board of Realtors
recently announced the 2012 Realtor of the Year...
and it is our very own Harriet Cummings!
Harriet started her Real Estate career in 1996 in Orono where she worked
for about 8 years before moving to the Auburn area to be closer to her children.
about 2 1/2 years ago, Harriet decided to join Fontaine Family - The Real Estate Leader...
and we are so happy she did.
Harriet is a breast cancer survivor and is active in supporting cancer research.
She has participated in Relay for Life walks in Orono and Winthrop.
She has also walked in the Dempsey Challenge each year since its start.
Harriet's volunteer spirit does not end there. She has taken part in
Rebuilding Together in Auburn, has served in the AVBOR board of directors,
was president of the board for a year, and served on the affordable housing committee
and scholarship committee for the board.
Harriet has 2 children and their spouses -
Joel & Michelle Cummings and Lori & David Gile.
She also has 2 granddaughters,
Kayla and Jordan who keep her busy following their activities!
And, let's not forget her "granddogs", Fenway and Yawkey.
We can't think of anyone more deserving of the Realtor of the Year!
